On Thursday the 24th January Cannon Hygiene held the first One Cannon conference at the Birmingham NEC bringing together staff from across the organisations nineteen service centres. The event championed the fact that Cannon Hygiene are ‘Stronger Together’, featuring a number of talks and focused breakout workshops.
Introducing One Cannon
David Lewis, Managing Director of Cannon Hygiene, got things underway by updating attendees on plans for 2019 and this was followed by a talk from Steve Nurdin, Head of Marketing at Cannon Hygiene, which introduced One Cannon and what the aims of the day were.
The idea behind the One Cannon conference is to achieve even greater alignment across different departments within the business to deliver an even better service to our customers.
After the morning talks all attendees were invited to 30 minute workshop discussions on the following topics:
- Contract Mobilisation, Gatekeeping, NPS and Trustpilot
- Training and People Development
- IT Update
Each workshop session developed “One Cannon” pledges, which were takeaway actions and plans to take forward to benefit future business operations.
A great event
David Lewis’ closing remarks brought an end to a great conference at the Birmingham NEC and feedback from the event was very positive. Cannon Hygiene would like to thank Steve Nurdin and Carey Winder from our marketing team, and Georgina Ellwood from our events team for organising such a great conference. We would also like to thank everyone who attended for their enthusiasm.
The conference really did provide that Cannon Hygiene are Stronger Together!
