There’s more to clean surfaces than meet the eye. Virtually any public area represents a potential breeding ground for microorganisms. Good hygiene and cleaning practices are well recognized as important elements for preventing the spread of these microorganisms. That’s why many of our products contains Polygiene.
What is Polygiene?
Many Citron Hygiene products contain Polygiene - antimicrobial technology that uses Silver Ion technology to effectively kill germs on contact and break the transmission path of diseases.
Polygiene is based on the natural ability of silver to inhibit the growth of microbes. Polygiene is added during the manufacturing process and Polygiene silver ions are released at the surface, which inactivates the microbes upon contact.
Products that contain Polygiene help to minimise cross contamination and combat the spread of potentially harmful bacteria. That is why Citron Hygiene use Polygiene in a number of our products such as our hand sanitiser. Using Polygiene helps to maintain the highest possible hygiene standards.
