Yes. Our hand drying solutions are environmentally friendly, producing up to 80% less CO2 than other hand dryers. The low running costs and low environmental impact of our dryers have been certified by the Carbon Trust. They are also approved and certified by Quiet Mark for the sound quality.

A HEPA filter, or High Efficiency Particulate Air filter, is a type of air filter that now commonly features in products such as hand dryers, air purifiers, vacuum cleaners and motor vehicles. A HEPA filter is used to capture germs and other microbes such as dust and pollen found in the surrounding air for safer, cleaner and pure air. In hand dryers, a HEPA filter captures germs found in the surrounding washroom environment. According to the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology, HEPA filters must trap 99.97% of particulates 0.3 microns or larger in order to be compliant.

There’s no one hand dryer that is ultimately best. The right hand dryer for your commercial business will depend on a range of factors including your budget, washroom usage and design, the style you’re after and how quiet you need it to be. Contact us and we can help you find the best hand dryer for your workplace.

An IP rating, or Ingress Protection rating, is a classification system that measures the effectiveness of features within a hand dryer that prevent foreign bodies such as dust, tools, microbes and moisture from entering it. Hand dryers are classified with an IP rating which is made up of 2 numbers: the first represents protection against solid objects while the second represents the level of protection against moisture. For example, a hand dryer with a water IP rating of 1 equals protection from dripping water while a hand dryer with an IP rating of 8 represents protection against complete submersion. There has been much debate over whether hand dryers are hygienic. In the past, there have been concerns about bacteria and germs from the hands spreading into the surrounding air. However, with advancements in technologies, such as additions like HEPA filters and drying speed, we can say that hand dryers are hygienic, and they do work to prevent cross-contamination. Not drying your hands with a hand dryer is far more unhygienic as damp hands spread germs rapidly vs dry hands.
