Citron Hygiene is an international provider of managed washroom, hygiene and consumable services. In the UK we currently operate nine service centres, a large warehouse facility in the Midlands and a hub in Heysham, Lancashire. We help businesses create health spaces.

We are in a key strategic development phase where we are growing our sales teams rapidly, acquiring new businesses and extending our customer base. The Marketing team plays a key role in supporting sales growth and revenue generation and marketing decisions need to be made based on digital insight and effective use of our SaaS platforms.

We are looking for Digital Marketing Analyst that can support the existing marketing team with lead generation and marketing automation. We utilise leading software applications and SaaS technologies to ensure we are the best at what we do. Qualifications: 

A good academic background is preferred for this role
Educated to Degree level is desirable but not essential
Further relevant training and education in CX/automation/lead gen would be an advantage

Responsibilities: 
  • Understanding our lead generation platforms – The role requires an understanding of all aspects of our business from a lead gen point of view (social media, web and internal). Including an audit of what we currently have in place and what is missing.
  • Understanding our products and markets – The individual will need to understand our business, our processes, the products/services we offer, the markets we operate in, buying journeys/decisions, and how we can add value to revenue with successful lead generation management.
  • Managing automated digital/print campaigns – The role is required to plan, formulate and execute all online and offline lead generation campaigns. 
  • Measuring marketing effectiveness and ROI – This role requires someone with the ability to focus on how we achieve ROI across marketing and operationally. And how effective the marketing/lead gen campaigns are.
  • Understanding the customer journey and CX – The role requires a good understanding of customer journeys, nurturing customers, CX and how to effectively set up and control marketing automation campaigns to generate leads.
  • Online analytics & campaign reporting Supporting the marketing function with analysis of Google Analytics, email client and other online analysis tools.
  • Reporting and communicating regularly – As part of the marketing team, there is a requirement to present findings and recommendations to wider teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and related e-privacy laws – There will be a requirement to fully understand GDPR and other related e-privacy laws (including TPS/CTPS). And to guide the marketing department to ensure compliance always.
  • Working with and supporting other departments – There will be a requirement to work with other individuals and departments across the business such as Finance, Operations and other data driven roles.
  • Insight and Innovation – There will be a requirement to present ideas and recommendations that improve our current position and tools available internally.
  • Supporting Ad hoc marketing projects – A key part of the role is to understand and fully support the Citron UK Marketing Department (and Internationally where required) in other projects
Skills: 
  • Knowledge and understanding of large spreadsheets with often multiple date inputs
  • Competent in the finer workings of GDPR and e-privacy laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a critical eye.
  • Working to tight deadlines is expected.
  • Able to work individually and within a team.
  • Motivated to do well with a positive outlook and problem-solving mind-set.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to contribute to team meetings and general discussions.
     
Experience Requirements: 
  • Experience of MS Office Suite is required with Excel and Access (SQL) experience being desirable.
  • An in-depth understanding of data reporting tools and compliance requirements is required.
  • Experience of working with Salesforce would be an advantage
  • A god understanding of Google Analytics, email client software and other web/social media analysis tools
  • Working with complex ERP systems is desirable
  • Have previously worked in an environment where formulation of new ideas is encouraged.
  • Previously having worked in a marketing function is desired.
  • Campaign management and successful execution would be an advantage 
  • Experience in service industries or other competitive industries where business is sold on contract
